Profile
Established in the late 1990s by James Moores, Rochelle School is a cluster of three Victorian buildings erected in the 1880′s in the heart of East London – a singular oasis of creativity in an already artsy neighbourhood.
Studio Block
The main building in the Rochelle School complex is home to a thriving community of artists and creative industries housed in workspace studios created from former classrooms.
Club Row
A second building, formerly an infants school and known as Club Row, offers flexible spaces that retain a unique character, available for short and long-term hires for events and projects of all types.
Canteen
At the heart of the development and occupying part of the old school playground is the Canteen, liberally praised and very much a focal point of the complex. The Canteen not only offers outstanding food provided by Arnold & Henderson, but also acts as a crucial hub for all who pass through Rochelle’s doors.
Community
Rochelle School is located on Arnold Circus in London’s East End, occupying a key position at the heart of the Boundary Estate Conservation area. We are committed to assisting in raising the profile and restoring the confidence of an area that was once a model of social development for the whole of London.
